Exempt/Full-Time POSITION SUMMARY.
Reporting to the VP, Marketing & Communications, MediQuant's Content Specialist crafts engaging, informative content tailored for healthcare executives, aiming to educate, build relationships, and ultimately drive sales. JOB DUTIES and ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS. A

Translate healthcare executive priorities, search behavior, and buying signals into a focused content strategy that drives awareness, engagement, and pipeline. Research and analyze the priorities, challenges, and decision-making processes of healthcare executives to ensure content resonates with their needs. Develop audience personas and tailor messaging accordingly. Stay informed about industry trends, competitor strategies, and customer feedback to refine the content strategy. SEO / AEO / GEO
Performance Ownership:
Own organic and AI-driven discoverability (SEO, AEO, GEO), including keyword strategy, search intent mapping, content optimization, and ongoing performance tracking (rankings, traffic, zero-click visibility, and conversions). Content Roadmap & Editorial Planning:
Build and manage a prioritized, data-driven content calendar aligned to campaigns, product priorities, and revenue goals Prioritize content creation efforts based on data driven insights and business needs. Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of content assets. Plan content themes or series that address recurring customer challenges or industry trends. Content Creation (Human + AI-Augmented): Produce high-quality, executive-level content (blogs, reports, landing pages, video scripts, social, email) using AI to scale output while maintaining voice, accuracy, and differentiation. Write, edit, and proofread content to ensure it meets high-quality standards and aligns with the company's tone and voice. Leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, such as generating content drafts, summarizing data, or analyzing trends, while maintaining human touch for accuracy and authenticity Demand Generation Support:
Partner closely with Demand Generation to develop high-converting campaign assets (landing pages, paid media content, nurture emails, gated content) that directly support pipeline creation and acceleration. Content Optimization & Repurposing:
Continuously improve and expand existing content to increase visibility, engagement, and conversion; systematically repurpose content across channels and formats. Performance Measurement & Iteration:
Track and report on content performance across key metrics (traffic, engagement, rankings, influenced pipeline, conversions); use insights to refine strategy and prioritize efforts. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Partner with product, sales, SMEs, and leadership to source insights, and ensure content reflects real customer challenges and differentiation. QUALIFICATIONS

Critical thinking to analyze industry trends and turn them into great content ideas Experience with modern tools and AI for content creation Demonstrated experience setting content strategy/roadmaps/calendars Experience with and clear understanding of SEO/AEO/GEO
strategies Strong communication, writing, editing, and research skills Strong understanding of healthcare and/or healthcare IT Comfortable working in a remote environment and digitally engaging colleagues Required Education and Experience:
5+ years of experience in content marketing, including experience in the Healthcare IT/Healthtech industry Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communications, or related degree with experience. Equally comfortable writing and editing with a high bar for quality Experience managing a content roadmap and editorial calendar Passion for educating audiences through industry-leading content Work Environment. Employees may work from our corporate headquarters or work from home. Employees may at times be required to travel to headquarters for meetings or company events. Remote workers will be provided with a company laptop and are responsible for maintaining access to high-speed internet. Physical Demands. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Position Type and Expected Hours of Work. This is a full-time position, and the hours of work and days are typically Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Some flexibility in hours is allowed, but the employee must be available during the "core" work hours of 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. Travel. Travel is required. Incumbent may occasionally experience some out-of-the-area and overnight travel. Work Authorization. In compliance with Federal employment laws, MediQuant will verify the identity and employment authorization of each person hired. MediQuant participates in the Federal E-Verify program. Security Clearance. Must be able to pass all security clearances mandated by various government contracts as well as client hospital/healthcare security requirements. Any employee working on government projects will be required to successfully pass a government background check and receive a Common Access Card (CAC). Additionally, the applicant must be a U.S. citizen and will be subject to a Public Trust security background investigation and must meet requirements to obtain a Department of Defense (DOD) network account.
