12 Months (contract to client FTE) Remote position. Candidates need to be located near one of the following client Hubs - in case they need to go onsite for meetings, etc. client Hub Locations Westlake, TX, Austin, TX and Omaha, NE.
Description:
We are seeking a Content Strategist on the Insights & Education team to play an integral role in the development and implementation of our content strategy for advisors. You will contribute to the vision for advisor education and lead various cross-functional teams to execute on our content strategy. You will also foster relationships with key business partners, stakeholders, SMEs and creative agencies to identify content needs, drive alignment on priorities, and lead content creation, optimization and publishing. As a seasoned Content Strategist, you should have demonstrated expertise in driving strategy and managing cross-functional teams, as well as influencing and leading at various levels of the organization. Additionally, you should have proven writing and editing capabilities and be able to distill complex investing topics in a way that is both easy to understand and engaging. A solid understanding of asset management and investment products such as alternative investments, model portfolios and direct indexing is essential. Additionally, demonstrated experience creating/directing a variety of written, video and audio content for advisors in both long and short-form formats is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities include:
Serve as a content strategist for asset management educational content aimed at advisors, owning and managing content development from start to finish. Collaborate with business partners and subject-matter experts to identify content topics and needs, and to edit and optimize existing content. Manage content calendar and take accountability for project timelines; provide guidance and direction to internal partners and outside agencies on new content initiatives. Partner with advisor and digital marketing teams to develop and implement publishing and distribution strategies for content on client advisor-focused web properties. Monitor and report on content performance, making recommendations for optimization and future content to build on success.

Required Qualifications:
5+ years' experience writing and editing advisor investment-oriented educational content. Demonstrated experience driving and executing on content strategy. Proven ability to develop content in various formats, including long and short-form written, video and audio content. Solid understanding of investment products and solutions including alternative investments, model portfolios and direct indexing. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong project management and organizational skills. Ability to work independently yet comfortable seeking guidance from business partners and peers when needed. Knowledge of SEO/AEO, social media, and digital marketing. Bachelor's Degree in Journalism, Communications, English or related field or equivalent experience.
