Position Summary The Digital Marketing Designer is responsible for developing and executing digital creative assets that support ecommerce, marketing, and promotional initiatives across a portfolio of artists, festival, entertainment, and brand clients. Reporting to the Director of Ecommerce, this position works closely with the Ecommerce and Paid Media teams to create visually compelling, brand-aligned, and conversion-focused creative for Shopify storefronts, email and SMS campaigns, social media, paid advertising, product launches, and other digital marketing channels. The Digital Marketing Designer must be able to work effectively across multiple client brands, each with distinct visual identities, while managing a high volume of projects and competing deadlines. The position requires a combination of strong design skills, ecommerce knowledge, attention to detail, organization, and the ability to adapt creative based on campaign objectives and performance. Key Duties and Responsibilities Ecommerce & Digital Design Design and produce digital assets across a portfolio of Shopify storefronts, including homepage banners, collection headers, promotional tiles, pop-ups, product badges, size and fit graphics, and other ecommerce creative. Develop creative assets that support ecommerce merchandising strategies and guide customers through the purchasing journey. Adapt creative concepts and assets to align with each artist's or brand's established visual identity, including album artwork, tour branding, photography, typography, and other brand elements. Create complete campaign asset packages across required formats and placements, including desktop and mobile banners, 1:1, 4:5, and 9:16 social assets, email headers, and other digital specifications. Ensure digital creative is optimized for the appropriate platform, device, placement, and customer experience. Marketing & Campaign Creative Develop creative assets for email and SMS marketing campaigns, including hero images, promotional graphics, section graphics, and animated content. Create digital assets for Klaviyo campaigns and other ecommerce marketing initiatives. Produce creative supporting merchandise drops, tour launches, pre-sale windows, festival on-sales, capsule collections, back-in-stock campaigns, and other promotional events. Create light motion graphics, including animated GIFs, product loops, typography animations, reveal animations, countdowns, and urgency-focused promotional content. Collaborate with Ecommerce and Paid Media teams to evaluate creative performance and adjust or iterate assets based on campaign results and business objectives. Product Photography & Image Production Retouch, color-correct, resize, crop, and prepare product photography for ecommerce and digital marketing use. Maintain consistent image quality and specifications across ecommerce storefronts and marketing channels. Occasionally photograph products in-house, including flat lays and basic styled product setups, when additional creative assets are required. Prepare and export digital assets according to established technical and platform specifications. Asset & Project Management Maintain organized, version-controlled digital asset libraries, templates, source files, and final deliverables. Follow established file-naming conventions, folder structures, and version-control procedures. Develop and maintain reusable templates to improve efficiency and consistency across recurring campaigns. Manage multiple projects, client requests, revisions, and deadlines simultaneously. Communicate project status, priorities, potential delays, and resource needs to the Director of Ecommerce and appropriate team members. Ensure assigned projects are completed accurately and within established deadlines. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Shopify, including asset uploads, theme image specifications, collections, and section layouts. Experience with Klaviyo or another email service provider (ESP). Experience photographing products, including flat lays and basic styled product photography. Previous experience within the music, entertainment, festival, merchandise, fashion, or streetwear industries. Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS. Experience in creating digital assets for paid social media and performance marketing campaigns. Required Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in ecommerce design, digital marketing design, retail creative, agency design, or a related field. Portfolio demonstrates strong design capabilities and the ability to work successfully across multiple brands and distinct visual identities. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Photoshop and Illustrator, and/or Figma. Experience creating light motion graphics using After Effects, Photoshop, Premiere, or comparable software. Strong understanding of ecommerce merchandising principles and how digital creative influences customer engagement, conversion, and the overall purchasing experience. Strong photo-retouching, image-editing, and color-correction skills. Demonstrated ability to manage a high volume of creative projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and demonstrated organizational skills related to file management, naming conventions, version control, and asset specifications. Ability to receive and incorporate feedback while maintaining established brand standards and project objectives. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Compensation & Work Schedule Salary Range:
$50,000-$60,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications
