6-month contract with possible opportunity of extension Overview We're seeking a talented and motivated Marketing Specialist to join the Toast team for a 6-month part-time contract role. As part of our Marketing Suite team, you'll play a critical role in providing full-service demand-generation to restaurants, using a variety of Toast products such as Email, SMS, Social Media, SEO, Ads, printed assets and more. This role is ideal for individuals with a passion for digital marketing, copywriting, SEO and brand management. You'll work closely with restaurant owners, bringing their vision to life, implementing our tools, and identifying areas for improvement to ensure a seamless user experience. Key Responsibilities

• Be the point of contact across onboarding, approvals and keeping customers informed on the latest and greatest with their marketing plans.
• Own the monthly marketing cycle - create the strategy, calendar, copy and designs for marketing campaigns across Email, SMS and Social, leveraging Toast's internal tools.
• Set up and maintain automations such as winback campaigns, receipt marketing and happy hour deals.
• Execute channel optimizations (SEO, Google Business Profile, website, listings) and design flyers or other printed collateral as needed.
• Report & iterate - deliver monthly performance reports with clear insights; adjust tactics to hit customer goals.

Job Requirements Here's what you'll need: High School Diploma or GED Minimum 2 years of experience with digital marketing tools Minimum 2 years of experience interfacing with customers on a recurring basis Here's what sets you apart from other candidates: A strong eye for design and ability to create visually appealing, user-friendly campaigns. Excellent project management and communication skills Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Familiarity with the restaurant industry or small business marketing is a plus.
