Marketing Full Job Description Schedule:
Approximately 4-6 hours per day, depending on travel requirements Position Overview Insurance Masters is seeking a highly motivated, Field Marketing Representative to support the growth of our Federal Benefits division. This role is responsible for building relationships and generating qualified leads by federal workplaces within 125 miles of the greater Asheville, NC area. The individual in this position will not be responsible for selling products or services. Instead, this role serves as a critical first point of contact, connecting federal employees with licensed Federal Benefits Advisors who will conduct consultations and enrollments. Key Responsibilities
  • Travel to assigned regions within 125 miles of the greater Asheville, NC area to visit federal facilities
  • Conduct in-person outreach between 8:00 AM and 10:00 AM to introduce services and generate interest
  • Establish rapport with employees and identify opportunities for follow-up meetings
  • Schedule qualified appointments for licensed Federal Benefits Advisors
  • Maintain consistent activity levels to meet weekly lead generation expectations
  • Coordinate with internal team members to ensure smooth handoff of leads
  • Track outreach activity and results accurately Territory and Schedule Expectations
  • This position is based out of Asheville, NC for strategic access to statewide territories
  • Daily travel is required and will include locations such as Charlotte, Hickory, Hendersonville, Gastonia, Greenville (SC) as well as other small towns
  • Workdays will vary based on travel distance
  • Shorter travel days will typically result in approximately four (4) hour workdays
  • Longer travel days may extend up to six (6) or more hours, including drive time
  • The role offers flexibility and autonomy, with a primary focus on results and consistency Compensation
  • Base pay of $2,000 per month
  • Commission earnings typically range from $1,600 to $2,400 per month based on personal and team performance
  • Car allowance provided
  • Fuel reimbursement provided
  • Total expected weekly earnings range from approximately $3,500 to $4,500 or more, based on performance Qualifications
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Comfortable initiating in-person conversations in a professional setting
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel daily
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage territory schedules efficiently
  • Prior experience in field marketing, sales, outreach, or customer-facing roles is preferred What Success Looks Like
  • Consistent generation of qualified appointments for the Federal Benefits team
  • Strong relationship-building across assigned territories
  • Reliable execution of daily outreach activities
  • Contribution to overall revenue growth through lead pipeline development
Travel Requirements:
This position requires mandatory travel locally within 125 miles of the greater Asheville, NC area. Meetings in federal offices are primary to this role. When not traveling, the Field Marketing Representative will work remotely (work-from-home). Local travel will constitute 90% of the responsibilities of this role. Insurance Masters will provide a car allowance and fuel costs. Travel will occasionally be required to Insurance Masters' home office in North Augusta, SC.
