Job Description
Atlanta/Hybrid-Remote Opportunity Alloy is an integrated marketing agency. We specialize in helping brands across the full funnel, from designing and developing digital solutions and brands that inspire, to creating complete communication offerings and performance marketing campaigns. Our cross-channel solutions help innovative brands engage with their buyers, shape public opinion, build lasting influence, create new categories, and accelerate growth and market share. Behind it all is a group of nerds, rebels and creatives. We've been called a Best Place to Work (10 times and counting, to be exact). And we're growing this Uncommon Crew. About the role We're looking for a Marketing Automation Lead to build and own customer journey programs across our clients' accounts. You'll be hands-on-keyboard building, debugging, and optimizing campaigns across a variety of platforms, including Marketo, Customer.io, Salesforce Pardot, and Salesforce Marketing Cloud. This is an execution-first role, but one that calls for experience and judgment around process, standards, and platform best practices. You'll help define how work gets built and QA'd, act as a senior point of escalation, recommend approaches and tools, and help shape how our marketing automation practice grows. We're open to someone with deep experience in one or two platforms and/or broader martech experience. What's most important is strong systems thinking, technical curiosity, and ingenuity. What you'll do Build, QA, and deploy multi-step nurture/journey programs Debug automation issues such as broken smart campaigns, failed triggers, CRM sync errors, deliverability problems Set standards for lead scoring, segmentation, and lifecycle logic, and implement it directly based on specs from strategy/account leads Own data hygiene and field-mapping standards between marketing automation tools and connected CRM systems Partner with designers and copywriters to translate creative into functioning, tested email builds Leverage AI tools and automated processes alongside human orchestration to speed up deployment, QA, and troubleshooting Lead platform migrations, audits, and clean-up projects as the martech stack evolves across accounts Establish documentation standards Own risk management — deliverability, compliance, data quality — flagging and building in front of issues rather than waiting for something to break in production What you bring 4-5+ years of hands-on experience with a modern marketing automation platform (e.g. Marketo, HubSpot, Pardot, Customer.io) building and troubleshooting campaigns/automations Working knowledge of email
