New York, NY MarTech Engineer (Measurement & Tagging) Permanent New York, NY Posted 10 hours ago Talener We are seeking a (Senior) Technical Marketing Manager to join a fast-growing digital subscription platform with a sophisticated consumer marketing operation. This is a full-time hybrid opportunity based in New York City, supporting a cross-functional MarTech team responsible for tracking, partner integrations, campaign enablement, and marketing systems performance. The ideal candidate brings a strong blend of marketing technology expertise, partner-facing communication skills, and hands-on experience with tracking implementation across web and app environments. MarTech Engineer (Measurement & Tagging)Location:
Hybrid (New York City) Responsibilities- Serve as a key member of a cross-functional marketing technology team supporting campaign tracking, data quality, and partner integrations across a complex digital marketing ecosystem
- Partner closely with internal marketing stakeholders to understand campaign requirements, technical dependencies, and integration needs across paid, owned, and partner channels
- Act as a bridge between marketing teams, external platforms or publishers, and engineering teams responsible for data infrastructure and implementation support
- Own hands-on implementation and configuration work across client-side and partner-side marketing tools, including tag management systems and attribution platforms
- Support and educate internal stakeholders on marketing technology tools, tracking architecture, campaign measurement, and implementation best practices
- Configure, validate, and troubleshoot tracking across websites, apps, and third-party partner environments to ensure clean, reliable, and compliant data collection
- Investigate campaign discrepancies, reporting issues, and tracking gaps, identifying root causes and helping define technical or process-based solutions
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and analytics teams to improve workflows, automate repeatable processes, and support evolving attribution or privacy requirements
- Assist with the rollout of new tracking tools, partner integrations, and measurement approaches across the broader marketing tech stack Required Skills & Experience
- 4+ years of experience in marketing technology, digital analytics, technical marketing, solutions engineering, or a related implementation-focused role
- Hands-on experience building or supporting tracking implementations across websites and/or mobile applications
- Strong experience with tag management systems such as Google Tag Manager, Tealium, or similar platforms
- Familiarity with analytics, attribution, and marketing reporting tools such as Google Analytics, Adjust, Adverity, or comparable technologies
- Experience supporting client-side, server-to-server, API-based, or partner-side integrations in a marketing or advertising technology environment
- Strong troubleshooting skills related to campaign performance, tracking discrepancies, and data quality issues
- Working knowledge of browser tools, HTTP behavior, cookies, sessions, and front-end debugging workflows
- Basic proficiency in JavaScript and SQL, with the ability to investigate and validate technical implementations
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work across technical and non-technical teams
- Experience working in fast-paced, cross-functional environments with multiple simultaneous workstreams Compensation
Base Salary:
$110,000 - $150,000- Additional compensation may be included depending on overall package and experience Additional Information
- Hybrid role based in New York City, with an expectation of 2-3 days per week in office
- This is an individual contributor role, not a people management position
- Experience in MarTech, AdTech, digital subscription products, consumer apps, or performance marketing environments is strongly preferred
- Exposure to consent/privacy tooling, attribution workflows, event-driven systems, or deep link tracking is a plus
