Job DescriptionIngram Content Group (ICG) is hiring for a Product Specialist to contribute to our team in LaVergne, TN just outside Nashville.

In this role, you will work with Content Managers to achieve company goals for service level/fill rate, inventory turn, and return rate. You'll be responsible for data integrity in both the item and purchase order master databases. Your job will be to ensure timely set-up of new products, manage maintenance of item master data and purchase orders, expedite purchase orders, and resolve discrepancies with suppliers. You will serve as liaison between the Product Group and multiple internal departments (e.g. Customer Care, Sales, Logistics, Accounting), as well as stakeholders across multiple ICG business units (e.g.
IPS, LSI
), and suppliers. You'll also identify opportunities to enhance service level and drive efficiencies in the ICG supply chain. Ingram Content Group ("Ingram") connects people with content in all forms. Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED2 years intermediate proficiency in MS Word and Outlook plus experience creating spreadsheets in MS Excel, including creating basic mathematical formulas and data manipulation (e.g. vlookup)3 years' experience of input, maintenance and analysis of data2-3 years prior experience conducting internet research using standard search tools.
Preferred Skills:
Book industry experience is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
Performs ongoing item maintenance including pricing, discounts (purchases discount and customer discount), availability, returnability, supplier data, purchase order acknowledgements, etc.

Performs new item set-up (title-coding) Expedites overdue purchase orders via supplier self-service portals, websites, and direct communication with suppliers via email and telephone. Tracks inbound shipments to ensure timely delivery.

Performs purchase order maintenance from various reports and systems (e.g. Receiving Exceptions, Expediting, etc.) to ensure the integrity of the Purchase Order Master data.

Supports Sales, Customer Care, and other ICG stakeholders by responding to assigned JIRA support tickets within established timelines (typically 24 hours).Performs title research as needed to resolve discrepancies or to provide information to management, Sales, or Customer Care.

Collaborates with Content Managers on critical issues with suppliers.

Addresses supplier issues involving any ICG department or business unit.
Hiring Salary Range:
 $22.17/hr - $27.48/hr. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. It will be determined by factors including but not limited to: the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, geographic location, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
