Principal Duties and Responsibilities (
- Essential Functions)
- Own a project through from beginning to end by collaborating and facilitating discussions with multiple team members across various disciplines.
- Make design and creative decisions to overcome any challenges and obstacles, and to assist with the flow of the project approval process in order to ensure that the project is delivered on time and on brand.
- Manage incoming projects by serving as the lead client contact and regularly communicating with all clients/contacts to obtain updates on their business needs.
- Facilitate creative brief processes and set and execute promotional campaign/project timelines and deliverables. Plan and deliver projects on time, on brand, and on budget.
- Complete and review work orders and creative briefs for content; work with the Project Specialist to open and schedule jobs; and communicate job details and instructions to Creative team.
- Prepare account service-related documents including meeting agendas, meeting reports, proposals, presentations, and other client communications.
- Lead the planning and execution of marketing opportunities including but not limited to events, project/campaign kickoffs, conferences, and photo shoots.
Manage media deliverables with the ability to communicate specs and campaign both internally and externally. Keep current on departmental projects; have a clear understanding of each project's timeline; and negotiate timeline when appropriate. Train project owners and provide guidance on how to gather sufficient information. Track competitive landscape, including industry trends and ad alerts, and recommend appropriate deliverables and / or new opportunities as appropriate. Perform job duties in full compliance with departmental Internal Controls, policies, procedures, and regulations. Perform other duties as assigned. Job Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related field and 3 years of marketing experience in a department of similar size is required. Experience managing client projects is required. Two years of advertising agency experience is preferred. Understanding of media processes and channels including print, TV, radio, OOH, and digital preferred. Office skills must include the ability to use standard office equipment and general knowledge of Microsoft Office. The ability to use strong organization skills and attention to detail to accurately handle multiple job duties and projects in a fast-paced environment. The ability to maintain discretion in handling confidential information. The ability to interact with guests and team members professionally. The ability to work irregular hours and extended shifts including late nights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays. While performing the duties of this job, the team member is required to talk, hear, stand, sit, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and move freely throughout the office and property for duration of scheduled shift. The team member is frequently required to use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, and reach with hands and arms. The team member must be able to operate a personal computer. The team member may be required to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects up to 10 pounds on a regular basis and up to 25 pounds occasionally, with assistance. Team member must wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) while performing job duties. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus Working Conditions The noise is usually moderate. When on the casino floor, the noise level increases. The facility is not smoke free.
