Job Summary Responsible for development and implementation of specific tactics to achieve results for defined advertising, marketing and communication strategies, for brands of Vandalia Health, its service lines and supporting entities Responsibilities Effectively work with project contacts to develop campaign objectives, conceptualize products, establish timelines for project flow, and manage the marketing budget. Commit to quality and accuracy of all work produced, both personally and contracted, with strict attention to graphic standards and approval processes. Interpret market research for utilization in the development of creative strategies to achieve marketing objectives. Responsible for the management of project execution, which may include design, layout, copywriting, supervising and coordinating production and delivery of the campaign. Serve as a marketing representative to administrative personnel during new project development, budget preparation, and overall marketing plan development. Develop engaging content for social media platforms, and assist with monitoring social media channels and responding to inquiries. Remain current on digital marketing technologies, CRM systems, and content management systems. Maintain complete and accurate files of all projects to include dollars spent, details of project components (i.e., printer, contractor, etc.), results of tracking mechanisms, and other pertinent information. Favorably represent the companies to vendors, media, and advertising solicitors to effectively maximize impact of marketing dollars. Attend meetings, conferences and community activities on behalf of Vandalia Health and its companies as necessary. Multitask and monitor several projects and accounts on a daily basis. Ability to work well under pressure and manage time effectively. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Patient Group Knowledge (Only applies to positions with direct patient contact) The employee must possess/obtain (by the end of the orientation period) and demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide developmentally appropriate assessment, treatment or care as defined by the department's identified patient ages. Specifically the employee must be able to demonstrate competency in: 1) ability to obtain and interpret information in terms of patient needs; 2) knowledge of growth and development; and 3) understanding of the range of treatment needed by the patients. Competency Statement Must demonstrate competency through an initial orientation and ongoing competency validation to independently perform tasks and additional duties as specified in the job description and the unit/department specific competency checklist. Common Duties and Responsibilities (Essential duties common to all positions) 1. Maintain and document all applicable required education. 2. Demonstrate positive customer service and co-worker relations. 3. Comply with the company's attendance policy. 4. Participate in the continuous, quality improvement activities of the department and institution. 5. Perform work in a cost effective manner. 6. Perform work in accordance with all departmental pay practices and scheduling policies, including but not limited to, overtime, various shift work, and on-call situations. 7. Perform work in alignment with the overall mission and strategic plan of the organization. 8. Follow organizational and departmental policies and procedures, as applicable. 9. Business, Marketing, Journalism, or Communications Experience:
3 years of successful marketing/advertising experience. 3 years health care related marketing experience preferred.
