Position Description As a Senior Media Investment Lead, you will negotiate local media buys and manage all aspects of stewardship. You will also oversee an Associate on daily tasks and workload while supporting their mentorship and development. The ideal candidate is flexible and able to adapt their approach based on marketplace dynamics and evolving client needs, using experience and sound judgment to achieve goals.

Essential Functions:

Negotiate local radio and television media buys; digital video experience is a plus. Assess local market conditions, audience trends, and competitive media activity. Develop media plans aligned with campaign objectives, budgets and timelines. Negotiate rates, added value, and placements to maximize value and impressions. Track campaign performance to ensure schedules post to goals. Maintain strong relationships with local media vendors and reps.

Qualifications:

Seasoned negotiator with 5+ years of relevant agency or buying experience Strong relationships with station contacts Solid verbal and written communication skills Highly organized, self-motivated, and creative in problem-solving. Ability to work successfully with teams, handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines under pressure Detail oriented and able to produce accurate work Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; Strata and SQAD experience is a plus. Ability to interact with senior level management.
