About This Role As a Jr. Media Buyer at Strikepoint, you'll work directly alongside our experienced media buying team to support campaign setup, quality assurance, reporting, and execution across platforms, including Meta, Google, and TikTok. This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for someone who already has foundational platform experience and can contribute quickly. You will own the execution layer of paid media, handling the detailed, high-accuracy work that keeps campaigns running correctly while building toward a full Media Buyer role.
Responsibilities:
Support campaign setup, naming conventions, and QA across Meta, Google, and TikTok Ads Assist Media Buyers with day-to-day campaign management tasks and execution Pull and compile weekly performance reports, ensuring KPI accuracy across CTR, CVR, ROAS, and CPA Follow optimization playbooks and SOPs to make basic bid, budget, and targeting adjustments Monitor pixel firing, UTM tracking, and conversion data, flagging discrepancies promptly Learn and document platform-specific best practices and internal processes Communicate internal performance updates clearly and on time Contribute to team workflows and flag issues proactively before they become problems
Experience:
2+ years of hands-on experience in digital marketing, paid media, or a closely related role
Education:
BA/BS in Marketing, Business, Communications, or equivalent experience Skills & Expertise Direct, working experience in at least one of the following: Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, or TikTok Ads Demonstrated ability to manage tasks independently with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail Solid understanding of core performance metrics: CTR, CVR, ROAS, and CPA Comfortable working in Google Sheets or Excel for reporting and data tracking Familiarity with UTM parameters and pixel-based tracking; ability to flag and investigate basic discrepancies Strong attention to detail, accurate campaign setup, and QA are a core part of this role Clear written and verbal communication for internal reporting and team collaboration Receptive to feedback and able to apply it quickly without repeated direction Familiarity with AI tools and a willingness to incorporate them into day-to-day work are pluses You Would Thrive in This Role If… You are organized, detail-oriented, and take pride in work that is set up correctly the first time You are comfortable jumping into platforms and figuring things out without someone walking you through every step You want to grow into a full Media Buyer role and understand that execution excellence is how you get there You ask good questions, take feedback well, and do not need the same direction twice You are curious about AI tools and already experimenting with ways to work more efficiently This Probably Is Not the Right Fit If… You are looking for a role where someone will build out your daily task list and check in frequently You have no prior hands-on experience with paid media platforms You are more interested in strategy and client-facing work than in the execution and detail work that defines this role You struggle to manage multiple tasks simultaneously without dropping accuracy Compensation 55,000-65,000 Benefits Robust Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance plans with a generous employer contribution towards monthly premium costs Customizable 401(k) plan with employer match after 90 days Company-paid Life Insurance Policy Flexible PTO Company-provided Macbook Hybrid/Remote work policy Location Our office is in Laguna Beach, CA.
