We are seeking a hands-on, analytically minded Digital Specialist to join the Hedges & Company team, who can own paid media campaigns end to end; developing strategy, building and launching campaigns, managing budgets, and turning performance data into recommendations that move client businesses forward. This is not a "button pusher" role. Our Digital Specialist are strategic practitioners, responsible for the performance of the campaigns they manage, advising clients and internal teams on paid media strategy, and serving as the connection between campaign execution, measurable results, and client business goals. The ideal Paid Media Specialist is: Hands-on in platform, deeply comfortable building, managing, and optimizing campaigns across Google, Microsoft, and Meta (Facebook and Instagram). Analytical, able to read performance data (Google Analytics / GA4), find the story in it, and act on what it says. Strategic, connecting channel tactics to a client's business goals rather than optimizing in a vacuum. A strong communicator, confident articulating results, recommendations, and trade-offs to clients and internal teams. Accountable and organized, managing multiple accounts, budgets, and deadlines without losing the details. Curious, actively testing new tactics, platforms, and technologies, and recommending what's worth adopting. Collaborative, generous with knowledge and willing to coach less experienced team members. Key Responsibilities Campaign Strategy & Planning Develop paid media strategy and campaign plans across channels such as Google, Microsoft, and Meta (Facebook and Instagram). Research and write ad copy, and test creative and messaging variations. Set up and test conversion tracking so performance is measured accurately. Analyze performance on an ongoing basis and optimize campaigns toward client goals. Measurement & Reporting Maintain reporting dashboards and report key insights to relevant stakeholders, including internal teams and clients. Translate campaign data into clear, plain-language recommendations clients can act on. Present paid media results, relevant industry trends, and forward-looking recommendations to internal and client audiences. Collaboration & Growth Collaborate with account, SEO, design, and data teams so paid media supports the broader client strategy. Proactively seek out internal projects, new client deliverables, and other opportunities to grow our paid media services. Manage relationships with advertising vendors and platform partners such as Google, Meta, and StackAdapt. Expertise & Continuous Improvement Coach and mentor less experienced team members on paid media tactics and strategy. Evaluate emerging platforms, technologies, and strategies, and recommend adoption where appropriate. Communicate with colleagues and clients in a respectful and professional manner. Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. 3-5+ years of hands-on paid media experience in a digital marketing agency or in-house marketing environment. Strong proficiency in Google Ads (including Google Search campaigns), Meta Business Manager, Google Analytics / GA4, and Google Tag Manager. Ability to manage multiple accounts and projects in a deadline-driven environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on articulating data and discussing strategic recommendations with clients. Excellent organizational and time management skills, and strong attention to detail. Ability to learn quickly and adapt to varying client industries, competitive landscapes, technical limitations, and budgets. Preferred Experience in or knowledge of the automotive industry (aftermarket parts and accessories, OEM, or dealerships).
