Team Overview The Separately Managed Accounts (SMAs) Investments team within Edward Jones' Wealth Management Advice and Solutions (WMAS) division plays a critical role in delivering sophisticated investment solutions to support our advisors and high‑net‑worth clients. As part of a growing and highly visible team, you'll contribute to building and maintaining SMA offerings that help advisors meet evolving client needs. What You'll Do In this role, you'll support the ongoing management and execution of the firm's Separately Managed Accounts (SMA) product offerings. Day to day, you'll partner closely with internal teams and external product partners to ensure SMA solutions are well‑supported, compliant, and aligned with firm strategy. Your work will focus on operational execution, product maintenance, and delivering consistent, high‑quality support to the field. Here are a few of the
Key Responsibilities:
Support the development, management, and execution of SMA product offerings aligned to firm advice and guidance Manage SMA onboarding activities and ongoing operational responsibilities Maintain assigned SMA product portfolios, including supporting recommendations for product or partner changes Assist with shaping and executing business plans aligned to firm strategy Ensure product literature and wholesaling materials are current, accurate, and compliant Resolve moderately complex product or partner issues as escalated Serve as a point of contact and liaison with assigned SMA product partners Develop and maintain foundational knowledge of assigned SMA products, including features, pricing, and marketplace positioning
What You'll Need:
Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, accounting, or a related field Series 7 and Series 66 licenses required within 12 months of hire 3+ years of relevant experience in financial services, with preference for analytical, investment, or product‑related roles Experience supporting or working with investment products; SMA or brokerage industry exposure preferred Ability to manage multiple workstreams and deliver against deadlines in a fast‑paced environment Experience collaborating with internal partners and external vendors or product partners Proficiency with reporting, documentation, and product maintenance activities Progress toward or relevant industry designations (e.g., CFA, CFP, CAIA) preferred Candidates that live within a commutable distance from our Tempe, AZ and St. Louis, MO home office locations are expected to work in the office four days per week.
