About Our Client Our client is seeking an experienced engineering leader to oversee a team of engineers and scientists responsible for developing complex hardware and instrumentation products. This position combines people leadership, technical direction, and project execution in a collaborative environment where innovation and product quality are critical to success.
Job Description Responsibilities:
Lead engineering teams through the full product development lifecycle, from concept through production. Provide technical guidance across hardware, embedded systems, software, and system-level design efforts. Manage, mentor, and develop engineering talent while fostering a high-performance culture. Drive project planning, prioritization, resource allocation, and execution. Collaborate closely with manufacturing, operations, quality, and product teams. Support new product introduction activities and production readiness efforts. Lead design reviews, problem-solving initiatives, and continuous improvement programs. Ensure compliance with quality standards, design controls, and documentation requirements. Coordinate with international engineering and operational stakeholders. The Successful Applicant Ideal Candidate:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, or a related technical field. Significant experience leading engineering teams in a product development environment. Strong background in complex hardware, electronics, instrumentation, sensing technologies, or related systems. Experience working closely with manufacturing and quality organizations.
