Job Description:
A growing kids fashion brand is looking for a Freelance Licensing Assistant. Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Licensing Assistant with prior apparel experience to support a growing kids brand across licensed and non-licensed sleep categories. This role will focus on managing lab dip, print, and strike-off approvals, supporting artwork execution, and partnering cross-functionally with Design and Product Development to ensure timely and accurate product development. Key Responsibilities Preview and review color lab dips, prints, and strike-offs, partnering with Design and Product Development on approvals. Review and adjust artwork placements and croppings to align with brand and licensing standards. Support the creation of artwork millsheets and pull colors as needed. Own and manage sleep BOMs for both licensed and non-licensed product categories. Coordinate print workflow, including output from large-format printers and color adjustments to best represent digital files. Help maintain organization, follow-up, and communication across teams throughout the product development process. Qualifications Prior apparel experience is required, specifically with lab dips and strike-off approvals. Strong background in softline goods and licensing. Experience working cross-functionally with Design and Product Development teams. Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills. Experience with Disney licensing is a strong plus Preferred Profile A proactive, hands-on team player who can manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Comfortable working on carryover styles while supporting licensed artwork execution and approvals. Able to balance creative sensitivity with process accuracy and deadline management.
