Product Development Job Description The Product Developer Assistant will work with the Product Development Director and Development Teams to coordinate the development of the collection from initial design through pre-production stage including but not limited to: Coordinating sample development from initial sketch through to new style adoption. Help prepare products and boards for seasonal milestone meetings. Job Duties Works with the team to develop seasonal collections from development of the collection through to pre- production handoffs. Assisting designers with mood boards, market research, and color palette development for upcoming seasons. Communicates key information regarding product to-Product Development and Design team. Supports with development process from point of conception to finished product. Supports team to gather approvals for prototypes, fabric, lab dip and trims. Coordinate product with cross-functional departments and contractors. Handle shipping logistics Maintain and update divisional charts throughout the development process. Flexible and can adapt to changes; thrives in an ever-changing and fast-paced collaborative work environment. Must be able to anticipate and mitigate risks/issues and demonstrate strong problem-solving capabilities to resolve potential roadblocks with cross-functional departments.
Required experience:
? Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, and Outlook ? Strong Adobe illustrator and Photoshop skills ? Knowledge of fabrics. ? Exceptional time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize ? Recent college graduate preferred
