Job Description Our client is one of the nation's largest healthcare and health insurance organizations, serving millions of members across Medicare, Commercial, Pharmacy, and Care Delivery businesses. The organization is undergoing a significant transformation toward a product-driven operating model, modernizing core platforms, improving member and provider experiences, and accelerating digital innovation across the enterprise. As part of this evolution, the company is investing heavily in product leadership to drive business outcomes, modernize critical healthcare capabilities, and strengthen collaboration between business and technology teams. Position Overview We are seeking a Director of Product Management to lead product strategy and execution for a complex Medicare Claims ecosystem. This individual will play a critical role in modernizing core claims capabilities while helping transition product ownership into a mature product organization. This role requires a unique blend of healthcare domain expertise, product leadership, stakeholder influence, and change management. The ideal candidate understands how claims operations function end-to-end and can effectively introduce product-management principles within an established organization without disrupting critical business operations. The successful candidate will serve as a trusted partner across business, operations, technology, and vendor teams while driving the vision, roadmap, and execution strategy for one of the organization's most critical healthcare platforms. Day-to-Day Responsibilities Own the product strategy, roadmap, and delivery outcomes for Medicare Claims capabilities. Partner with business, operations, technology, and vendor stakeholders to define priorities and product investments. Drive product decisions across the end-to-end claims lifecycle, including intake, adjudication, payment, and reporting. Lead roadmap planning and prioritization activities across multiple stakeholder groups. Translate complex business needs into actionable product strategies and incremental delivery plans. Facilitate alignment between business and technology organizations while promoting product-management best practices. Build strong relationships with operational leaders and subject matter experts across the claims ecosystem. Partner with engineering teams to ensure successful execution of product initiatives. Identify opportunities to improve workflows, operational efficiency, business outcomes, and user experience. Measure product success through defined KPIs, adoption metrics, and business results. Influence organizational change as the company continues maturing its product operating model. Mentor and support the growth of product talent as the organization expands.
Pay range:

  • 10+ years of Product Management, Product Leadership, Business Transformation, or similar experience.
  • 5+ years of experience supporting healthcare payer organizations.
  • Deep understanding of Medicare Claims and the end-to-end claims lifecycle.
  • Experience working with claims adjudication, claims processing, or core administration platforms.
  • Demonstrated success leading complex enterprise products and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Experience building and executing product roadmaps in large-scale environments.
Experience with HealthEdge HealthRules Payor (HRP) or similar claims administration platforms. Medicare Advantage or Government Programs experience. Experience leading product transformations within large healthcare organizations. Experience transitioning business-owned capabilities into product-led organizations.
