Full Job Description Description:
We are seeking a highly driven and technically capable Product Manager to lead the creation, execution, deployment, and expansion of a next-generation Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) platform within the airport and industrial automation industry. This role will own the product lifecycle from initial concept through enterprise-scale deployment. The successful candidate will work directly with airport stakeholders, operational teams, maintenance personnel, software developers, systems engineers, and executive leadership to define and deliver a scalable CMMS solution initially targeted for a single airport deployment, followed by expansion across multiple airport sites and airline customers nationwide. This individual must be capable of operating in fast-paced operational environments while balancing customer demands, feature prioritization, technical constraints, schedule management, and long-term product scalability. The Product Manager will serve as the bridge between customer operations, software development, engineering execution, and executive leadership while leveraging Agile/Scrum methodologies to drive delivery and accountability. Key Responsibilities Product Ownership & Strategy Lead the end-to-end development and execution of a new CMMS platform for airport and industrial automation environments. Define and maintain the long-term product roadmap aligned with customer operational goals and company growth strategy. Translate customer operational pain points into scalable software requirements and product features. Establish phased product release strategies, MVP definitions, and feature prioritization frameworks. Ensure the platform is designed for future scalability across: Multiple airport locations Multiple airline customers Enterprise operational environments Additional industrial automation verticals Balance customer requests with strategic product direction and technical feasibility. Customer Engagement & Requirements Management Serve as the primary product-facing liaison between the customer and internal software organization. Spend significant time onsite in Atlanta (ATL) working directly with customer operations, maintenance, and leadership teams. Conduct workshops, discovery sessions, operational reviews, and feature validation meetings. Manage evolving customer expectations, feature requests, operational changes, and scope creep while maintaining project alignment. Gather operational workflows, maintenance procedures, reporting requirements, and field feedback to continuously improve the platform. Provide regular executive-level updates to both internal leadership and customer stakeholders.
Agile / Scrum

Own and maintain:
Product backlog Feature prioritization User stories Acceptance criteria Sprint objectives Release planning Manage Scrum teams to ensure: Sprint commitments remain achievable Technical blockers are removed quickly Development efforts align with product priorities Velocity and delivery targets are maintained Facilitate or participate in: Sprint planning Daily standups Backlog grooming Sprint reviews Retrospectives Release readiness reviews Drive accountability and visibility through data-driven Agile metrics and reporting.
Cross-Functional Leadership Partner closely with:
Software Development Teams Systems & Controls Engineering Airport Operations Personnel Project Management Office (PMO) Executive Leadership Implementation Teams Service & Support Teams Work directly with a dedicated Project Manager and the Director of Software to ensure alignment between: Product scope Development execution Resource planning Customer expectations Deployment schedules Coordinate across engineering disciplines to ensure integration between software, controls systems, operational technology, and airport infrastructure. Program Execution & Delivery Oversight Drive execution from concept through: Development Testing Validation Deployment Stabilization Enterprise rollout Ensure all phases of the product lifecycle remain aligned to schedule, budget, scope, and operational readiness goals.
Monitor and manage:
Dependencies Feature creep Technical debt Deployment readiness Operational impacts Establish structured weekly reporting and executive review cadences. Ensure proper documentation, traceability, and operational readiness throughout deployment phases. Deployment, Stabilization & Expansion Lead deployment coordination and rollout activities for airport operational environments. Support go-live readiness, cutover planning, and operational stabilization efforts. Coordinate hypercare and post-deployment support activities. Track product performance, operational adoption, defect trends, and customer satisfaction metrics following deployment. Develop repeatable rollout models and implementation standards for future customer deployments nationwide. Assist in building scalable support, onboarding, and training strategies for long-term product growth.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in the following fields: Computer Science Software Engineering Industrial Engineering Systems Engineering Information Technology Business Technology Related technical discipline 5+ years of Product Management experience in: Enterprise software Industrial automation Operational technology

environments Industrial SaaS platforms Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies. Experience leading software products from concept to deployment. Experience managing cross-functional technical teams in operationally critical environments. Strong customer-facing communication and executive presentation skills. Experience managing large-scale enterprise deployments and software rollouts. Ability to travel regularly to customer sites, including extended periods onsite in Atlanta.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with: Airport baggage handling systems (BHS) Passenger boarding bridge systems (PBB) or airports CMMS or EAM platforms Industrial automation systems SCADA platforms PLC-controlled environments Operational technology infrastructure Scrum Product Owner certification (CSPO), Scrum Master (CSM)/(PSM), or equivalent Agile certifications.
Experience with:
Azure DevOps Jira Microsoft DevOps ecosystem Microsoft Loop / Planner / SharePoint SaaS product delivery Experience scaling products across multiple enterprise customers.
