PSBU About the Role We are seeking a Project Manager
BusBar New Product Development to lead new product development programs from initial customer requirements through production launch.
In this role, you will drive cross-functional execution across engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and operations to deliver programs on time, within budget, and in alignment with customer and business expectations. You will serve as a key point of coordination between customers, internal teams, suppliers, and manufacturing sites, helping bring BusBar products from concept through launch. This role is ideal for a strong project leader who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and enjoys leading complex programs with cross-functional teams. What You Will Do
Lead BusBar new product development programs from concept, quotation support, and prototype builds through validation, customer approval, and production launch
Build and manage integrated project plans, including milestones, deliverables, risks, dependencies, and recovery actions
Coordinate cross-functional teams across product management, design engineering, manufacturing engineering, tooling, quality, supply chain, operations, and finance
Serve as a primary point of contact for program timing, scope, risks, change management, and launch readiness
Drive manufacturing readiness, including prototype builds, pilot runs, tooling development, process qualification, and production ramp-up
Support customer and internal deliverables related to APQP, PPAP, and launch approval requirements
Monitor project financials, including development spending, capital requirements, and cost-related risks
Identify and mitigate technical, supply chain, manufacturing, and commercial risks that may impact program success Who You Are Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field
5+ years of experience in project management, program management, project engineering, or product development within a manufacturing environment
Experience leading new product development or new product introduction programs through production launch
Experience working directly with customers and cross-functional teams on technical requirements, timing, issue resolution, and launch deliverables Preferred Qualifications
Experience with BusBar products or related power distribution / interconnect products
Experience in automotive, EV, industrial, or other high-reliability manufacturing environments
Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, control plans, and structured launch processes
Familiarity with manufacturing processes such as stamping, forming, welding, plating, overmolding, assembly, or test
