Remote Our client is seeking a Product Manager to lead the Workday Performance module initiative across talent marketplace, skills, and performance. The role will oversee delivery, optimization, and scalability of performance management capabilities using native functionality and Workday Extend, partnering with HR, IT, and leadership to drive adoption and continuous improvement. Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. Rate:
$75.00 to $80.00/hr. w2 JN -092026-108550
Responsibilities:
Own the product vision and roadmap for Workday Performance in alignment with HR objectives. Oversee features across native Workday modules and Workday Extend. Gather business requirements and translate them into clear user stories. Facilitate grooming sessions with stakeholders and technical teams. Assess data dependencies and impacts across HR systems. Ensure compliance and integrity of performance-related data. Validate solutions against business needs and scalability goals. Identify gaps and recommend optimization changes. Manage post-pilot feedback and incorporate improvements. Prepare for a February go-live and monitor performance during the January cycle and July end-of-year review. Partner with HR, IT, and leadership to promote adoption and manage check-ins. Act as the primary liaison for performance management processes. Evaluate system performance post-launch and drive enhancements.
Experience Requirements:
Proven experience as a Product Manager in HR technology or enterprise SaaS. Expertise in requirements gathering, backlog management, and Agile practices. Analytical mindset with ability to assess scalability and data impacts. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Calm, confident leadership with ability to navigate complex HR processes.
Nice to have:
Strong knowledge of Workday Performance and Workday Extend.
Nice to have:
Experience with performance cycles such as January mid-year and July end-of-year.
