This role is critical in ensuring that store systems are performant, intuitive for associates, and fully aligned with business, operational, and financial requirements. This is a product role, combining hands-on backlog ownership and feature delivery with broader platform thinking and cross-functional alignment. You will partner closely with engineering while collaborating across Store Operations, Loss Prevention, Finance, Merchandising, and OMNI teams to deliver solutions that improve accuracy, reduce friction, and enable scale. What You'll Be Doing Own and evolve the Retail POS product domain, with a primary focus on Oracle Xstore, including register workflows, transaction handling, and store execution capabilities. Define and enhance end-to-end transaction workflows, including sales, returns, exchanges, suspends, voids, and post-transaction processing. Partner closely with engineering teams to translate business requirements into detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and scalable technical solutions. Ensure accuracy and integrity of post-transaction data flows, including journaling, reporting feeds, and downstream system integration. Drive tight integration with Finance systems, ensuring transaction data supports reconciliation, reporting, and audit requirements. Collaborate with Merchandising and Pricing teams to ensure accurate and consistent execution of pricing, promotions, and offers at the POS. Work cross-functionally with Loss Prevention to support controls, reduce fraud risk, and improve exception handling within transaction flows. Partner with Store Operations and OMNI teams to ensure store technology supports real-world workflows and evolving business needs. Continuously identify and drive improvements in system reliability, performance, and associate experience at the register. What You Bring to the Table Strong ability to bridge business needs and technical execution, translating complex requirements into actionable deliverables. Proven experience working closely with engineering teams in Agile environments, owning backlog prioritization and delivery outcomes. Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders across operations, finance, and technology. Analytical mindset with a focus on data accuracy, operational integrity, and continuous improvement. Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate product decisions and trade-offs. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 5+ years of product management experience, preferably within retail, store systems, or enterprise platforms.
