Position:
Product Manager Location•Kansas City, MO (Onsite) 1.
Market Research and Analysis:
Conduct market research to understand industry trends, competitor products, and customer needs. Analyze data and gather insights to inform product strategy and decision-making. 2.
Product Strategy:
Define and communicate the product vision, goals, and overall strategy. Align the product strategy with the company's business objectives and long-term vision. 3.
Roadmap Development:
Develop and maintain a product roadmap that outlines the planned features and enhancements over time. Prioritize features based on customer needs, market demand, and business priorities. 4.
Requirements Gathering:
Collaborate with stakeholders, customers, and internal teams to gather and prioritize product requirements. Translate customer feedback and business needs into clear and actionable user stories. 5.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including development, design, marketing, and sales, to ensure alignment on product goals and successful product delivery. Facilitate communication and collaboration among team members. 6.
Release Planning:
Plan and coordinate product releases, taking into account development timelines, resource availability, and market needs. Define release objectives and success criteria. 7.
Product Development Oversight:
Provide guidance to development teams throughout the product development lifecycle. Make decisions on feature prioritization, trade-offs, and scope changes as needed. 8. User Experience (UX) and
Design:
Collaborate with UX designers to ensure that the product's user experience aligns with user needs and expectations. Provide input on design decisions and iterate based on user feedback. 9.
Go-to-Market Strategy:
Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new product releases. Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to create effective product messaging and positioning. 10.
Metrics and Analytics:
Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the success of the product.•Analyze data and feedback to iteratively improve the product and inform future decisions. 11.
Customer Feedback and Support :
Act as a voice of the customer, gathering feedback and insights from users.•Address customer support issues and collaborate with customer success teams to ensure customer satisfaction. 12.
Financial Management:
Manage the product budget and resources effectively.•Track and report on financial metrics related to the product's performance. 13.
Risk Management:
Identify and assess potential risks related to product development and market dynamics.•Develop strategies to mitigate risks and adapt to changing circumstances.. 14.
Innovation:
Foster a culture of innovation within the product team and the organization.•Stay abreast of emerging technologies and market trends. 15.
Continuous Improvement:
Conduct post-release reviews and retrospectives to identify areas for improvement.•Iterate on processes and strategies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the product development process.
