Job Description

Our client, in fragrance consumer goods is seeking a Fragrance Assistant to join their team. The ideal candidate will have sales coordination from fragrance & flavors teams and strong olfactory ("sense of smell") abilities and/or an interest in fragrance evaluation, which will align successfully in the organization.

1 Year (extension possible)
Pay Range:
$33 - $43 hourly What's the Job? Support fragrance development projects across a portfolio of home fragrance products, partnering with cross-functional global teams. Lead fragrance sampling programs and coordinate project timelines with R&D, Marketing, suppliers, and fragrance partners.
Can Train:
Conduct fragrance evaluations, sensory assessments, and performance testing to support product development and validation. Manage multiple projects and external suppliers while ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with GLP/GMP practices. Provide technical fragrance expertise, including ownership of key product formats, while contributing to innovation and continuous improvement initiatives. What's Needed? Bachelor Degree (or equivalent experience) in Chemistry or another scientific discipline
Required:
Sales or Marketing Coordination in New Product Development experience and project management (working with sales and marketing) in an R&D environment .
Required:
Strong organizational and project management skills; Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously; Excellent communication skills; Comfortable working independently with limited day-to-day supervision. Helpful, but not required: Familiarity with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and/or GMP Preferred experience in fragrance, flavor, or another related sensory industry: Fragrance, Flavor, Home Care, Personal Care, Consumer Products What's in it for me?
