Job Description:

Our client, an apparel company, is looking for a Product Development Manager to join their team in NYC!

Responsibilities:

Manage the apparel product development process from concept through production, ensuring timelines, quality standards, and cost targets are met Partner cross-functionally with Design, Production, Sourcing, Technical Design, and Sales teams to execute seasonal product assortments Source and develop fabrics, trims, and wash techniques while maintaining strong relationships with overseas vendors and factories Track development calendars, approvals, fit comments, lab dips, and sample submissions to ensure on-time delivery Analyze costing, market trends, and competitive products to identify opportunities for product innovation and process improvement

Qualifications:

5+ years of product development experience within the apparel industry Strong understanding of garment construction, fabrications, fit, and manufacturing processes Experience working directly with overseas factories, mills, and vendors Excellent organizational, communication, and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously Proficiency in PLM systems, Microsoft Office, and apparel development workflows in a fast-paced environment
