About Us Firstrade Securities Inc. is an online brokerage that gives self-directed investors access to stocks, ETFs, options, mutual funds and fixed income. We are growing our IT team in New York and looking for an experienced Product Manager who can help shape the next generation of our trading and investing experience. The Role As a Product Manager on our IT team, you will own the strategy, roadmap and delivery for key parts of our web and mobile trading platform. You will work closely with Developers, Design, Project Management, Compliance, Operations, Customer Service and Marketing to turn customer needs and regulatory requirements into products that are simple, reliable and compliant. What You'll Do Own the product roadmap for your area (e.g., trading, account opening, funding, portfolio tools or mobile), balancing customer value, business goals and regulatory requirements Write clear product requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria; manage the backlog and prioritize with engineering leads Lead products from idea to launch, including discovery, design review, UAT, release planning and post-launch measurement Partner with the Project Management team to plan timelines, track dependencies and risks, and keep cross-team releases on schedule Partner with Compliance so that features meet FINRA, SEC and other regulatory obligations (e.g., Reg BI, KYC/AML, options approval, disclosures) Use customer feedback, competitor research and product data to find opportunities and measure success with clear KPIs Work with Operations and Customer Service to improve workflows and reduce friction and support volume Coordinate with third-party vendors, clearing firms and market data providers as needed Present product updates, trade-offs and results to senior leadership What We're Looking For 5+ years of product management experience, including at least 2 years in brokerage, trading, wealth management or fintech Solid knowledge of equities, options and ETFs, and of how the order lifecycle works (order entry, routing, execution, clearing and settlement) Proven track record launching customer-facing web and mobile apps in financial services or fintech Ability to turn complex regulatory and operational requirements into clear product specs Hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum and tools like Jira, Confluence and Figma Experience using AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor) to speed up product work such as research, spec writing, prototyping and data analysis Comfort working with data: able to define metrics, read dashboards and run basic SQL (preferred) Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with a track record of driving business outcomes across business and technical teams Bachelor's degree in finance, Computer Science or a related field

Pay:

$140,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
