Job Description

Overview Wiesner Products was established in 1971 and has 48 years in the industry. A fast-growing company with a strong portfolio of consumer-focused products within 25 different categories is seeking a Product Developer in our non-electric kitchenware and home storage division. Responsibilities Work under Division Manager to develop and merchandise kitchenware and home storage programs Compile and review quotes received and send to Sales as needed Competitive shop for inspiration and conduct product analysis to make informed recommendations to sales Track development, production, and licensing samples and communicate with overseas teams to ensure samples are executed correctly and deadlines are met Daily use of internal product life cycle system for goods in production Work independently and/or in unison with sales on the development of products Assist in the development and maintenance of presentations and product line sheets Maintain the upkeep and layout of the Premier Kitchen Products showroom Requirements / Qualifications Ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities to meet given deadlines Must be detail-oriented and very organized Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word) Must be self-motivated and resourceful Excellent communication and follow-up Ability to absorb and apply constructive feedback Maintain a great attitude and positive work environment! Adobe Illustrator experience preferred Basic knowledge of retail math preferred Minimum qualification preferred - Bachelor's degree The candidate will be required to work in-person at least 4 days a week in our Mid-town Manhattan office. The salary range offered is in between $75,000 - $100,000 and will be determined based on the relevant experience and skills.
