This role will focus on:
Product portfolio strategy and management New product development and commercialization Consumer-driven innovation Revenue, margin, and P&L performance Cross-functional leadership across Sales, R D, Operations, and Finance The ideal candidate combines strong product management expertise with commercial acumen and a proven track record of driving profitable growth in food manufacturing or CPG environments. Key Responsibilities1. Product Portfolio Strategy Develop and execute portfolio growth strategies across protein and deli categories Evaluate SKU performance and lead portfolio optimization initiatives Identify market opportunities and category expansion strategies Define pricing, positioning, and profitability targets for key product lines 2. Product Development & Innovation Lead new product development from concept through commercialization Translate consumer insights and market trends into innovation pipelines Partner with R D and Operations to accelerate product launches Drive localization and adaptation of Korean-inspired protein products for the U.S. market Manage stage-gate development processes and launch execution 3. Commercial & P&L Management Own category-level revenue, margin, and profitability performance Monitor business performance and identify growth opportunities Develop action plans to improve sales, margins, and operational efficiency Establish KPI dashboards and performance tracking systems Partner with Sales and Finance to achieve annual business objectives 4. Cross-Functional Leadership Collaborate closely with Sales, R D, Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance Align product strategies with customer and retailer requirements Serve as a key liaison between U.S. operations and global teams Support strategic growth initiatives and business expansion efforts Requirements Required 10+ years of experience in product management, innovation, or category management within Food, CPG, or Consumer Products Proven experience leading product development and commercialization initiatives Strong business and financial acumen with P&L responsibility Experience managing product portfolios and driving profitable growth Strong cross-functional leadership and project management skills Preferred Experience in protein, deli, fresh food, or refrigerated categories Experience in food manufacturing environments Experience working with Korean, Asian, or globally inspired food products Experience in founder-led or high-growth organizations Success Metrics New product launch success rate Revenue growth by category Gross margin improvement Portfolio profitability SKU productivity and optimization Commercialization speed-to-market
