Hubbell Incorporated Job Overview The Program Manager - New Product Development is responsible for the development and implementation of medium-scale projects and the single point of contact for assigned projects. This role conceptualizes project plans and determines steps for implementation. The Program Manager - New Product Development develops project plans, schedules, and estimates, and is responsible for project update and tracking and adherence to set quality standards. This individual is responsible for coordinating tasks assigned to vendors. A Day In The Life Every day at Hubbell is different and you'll contribute in many ways. On any given day, you'll make a difference by: Setting project scope and objectives, defining milestones, creating the project plan, and managing the execution, implementation, and closure of the project. Coordinating across multiple functional areas to successfully complete complex business and data related projects that are short, medium, and long range in duration. Assisting in establishing the project budget and delivering on-time and within budget. Monitoring and reporting project statuses to team and assessing results. Identifying and escalating project risks to ensure timely mitigation. Maintaining and enhancing good customer relations by providing reliable and prompt communications to internal and external stakeholders with both written and verbal excellence. What will help you thrive in this role? Bachelor's Degree in Mechanica, Electrical, or Industrial enginnering or equivalent technical degree. PMI/PMP certification or equivalent preferred 8 + years of experience with project management.
