Job Description

Overview A rapidly growing insurance-focused organization is seeking an innovative Product Manager to lead the development of AI-enabled and automation-driven solutions across its underwriting and operations value chain. This role is ideal for a product leader who thrives at the intersection of insurance, data, and emerging technologies, with a focus on transforming manual workflows into intelligent, scalable systems. You will play a key role in delivering solutions that enhance underwriting capabilities, improve operational efficiency, and drive business growth. Key Responsibilities Product Strategy & Roadmap Own and execute the product roadmap for automation and AI solutions across the insurance lifecycle (intake, triage, underwriting, quoting, and policy operations). Define product vision and prioritize initiatives based on business value and strategic objectives. Product Development & Execution Translate business needs from underwriting, actuarial, and operations teams into clear product requirements. Partner with engineering and external vendors to deliver MVPs and iterate quickly. Lead product delivery from ideation through testing, feedback, and full-scale launch. AI & Automation Innovation Design and implement intelligent workflows that replace manual processes using AI and automation tools. Leverage technologies such as LLMs, NLP, and document processing to improve decision-making and efficiency. Drive adoption of advanced automation solutions across the business. Performance & Impact Measurement Define and track key success metrics (e.g., speed-to-quote, workflow efficiency, accuracy, and profitability improvements). Continuously optimize product performance based on data insights and user feedback. Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with underwriting, operations, technology, and external partners to deliver solutions. Ensure alignment across stakeholders and maintain a strong feedback loop. Support organizational adoption of new tools and workflows. Qualifications Required 5+ years of product management experience, ideally within insurance, SaaS, or enterprise technology. Strong understanding of insurance or MGA environments, including underwriting workflows and specialty lines. Experience building AI, automation, or data-driven products within complex systems. Familiarity with API-first architectures and scalable product design. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work across technical and business teams. Proven ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high-impact solutions in fast-paced environments.
