Job Description

Description Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Product Manager to join our team in Southampton managing products that provide real solutions to customers. This role is pivotal in driving product strategy and execution required to enable AdvantaPure to become a one-stop solution for fluid management within the entire life sciences market. The ideal candidate will have strong business acumen, necessary technical understanding of polymers, understanding of product lifecycle management (PLM) and familiarity with regulatory processes relevant to biopharma manufacturing.
Key Job Responsibilities:
Build and support robust, quantitative business cases as part of the Stage-Gate process for new product introductions and portfolio enhancements. Gain a deep understanding of customer needs through voice of customer capture; identify and fill product and data gaps. Act as a product expert to build awareness and understanding internally and externally through training, webinars etc. Develop & review product pricing for new launches as well as portfolio offerings
  • assess cost structures, customer willingness to pay, trends in internal data on price volume movements, juxtapose against market trends, generate, build, and reinforce price elasticity at various levels
  • for instance, product, customer and channel, end-use, regions, etc.
Develop product positioning strategies by interpreting and integrating unmet needs in market, voice-of-the-customer (VoC) and market research insights. Scope and prioritize business activities based on organizational strategies and market impact across all segments of biopharma manufacturing process particularly in Single Use (SU) space across drug modalities, for instance but not limited to
  • In consumable segment
  • bags and containment systems, tubes and hoses etc. In equipment segments
  • SU bioreactors, mixers, filtration, chromatography, pumps etc.
Liaise effectively with R D, Marketing, Engineering, Quality, and Manufacturing teams to ensure alignment and successful product lifecycle management. Skilled at working effectively with cross-functional teams and leading even without direct authority, guided by established RACI structures. Establish promotional content and plans to ensure that they are consistent with product family strategy, for both new launches and existing portfolio offerings. As key process owner representing the Product team for the prescribed product lines in suspected material report (SMR)/ quality claims process, provide technical and commercial knowledge-based assistance in resolving quality issues and claims, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Drive product growth initiatives, support existing product lines, and conduct periodic product line rationalization reviews. Apply knowledge of polymer science and regulatory frameworks to guide product decisions and maintain compliance. Representing the company at industry events. Why Join Us? Minimum 10+ years in product management within biopharma or related highly regulated industries. Proven experience with Stage-Gate and PLM processes, and business case development. Extensive go-to-market (GTM) pricing experience. Solid technical background and familiarity with polymer science applications in life science industry, with focus on biopharma manufacturing. Understanding of regulatory processes and quality standards in the industry. Strong communication (spoken and written), analytical thinking, and stakeholder management skills.
