Experienced Lead Service & Installation Technician We are currently seeking a knowledgeable and dependable Lead Fireplace Service & Installation Technician to join our growing team. This full-time role involves both hands-on technical work and on-site leadership responsibilities. Key Responsibilities Install gas and wood-burning fireplace units Perform inspections, cleanings, and system diagnostics Repair and rebuild fireboxes, smoke chambers, crowns, and chimney caps Install stainless steel chimney liners and chase covers Install propane tanks and gas lines in compliance with code Evaluate venting systems and resolve drafting/ventilation issues Communicate clearly with customers regarding service findings and recommended repairs Maintain accurate and detailed service records and job notes Lead a small on-site crew and coordinate daily operations Prepare and present accurate customer estimates Ensure all work complies with industry codes and safety standards What We Offer Comprehensive training and support toward industry certifications (classroom, hands-on, on-site, and online learning) A supportive, team-oriented environment that encourages growth and skill development Requirements CSIA Certification and/or NFI Certification is a plus Prior experience in the fireplace, chimney, or hearth industry Strong customer service and communication skills Team player with a positive attitude and leadership ability Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (drug test and background check required) Ability to lift 80 lbs and work on rooftops and ladders Experience with framing or general construction is a plus Must live 20 miles from Holland, PA Ability to troubleshoot gas systems, venting issues, and chimney structural problems
