Remote Position Summary Leads the enterprise AI product roadmap, driving prioritization and delivery of AI solutions across business functions. Partners with business, IT, and data teams to deliver scalable, responsible AI capabilities while ensuring measurable business value and alignment with governance standards. Key Responsibilities Define and manage the AI product roadmap across business domains (e.g., Claims, Customer Care, Compliance). Prioritize AI use cases based on value, feasibility, and risk. Translate business needs into AI product requirements and workflows. Drive value realization (automation, cost savings, cycle time, customer experience). Partner with business, IT, and data teams to deliver scalable solutions. Support AI governance aligned to NIST principles (trust, transparency, accountability). Monitor model performance, data quality, and operational impact. Communicate roadmap, progress, and outcomes to stakeholders and leadership. AI Governance, Risk & Compliance Support and actively participate in the enterprise AI Governance & Risk Committee Ensure AI use cases and solutions align with NIST AI Risk Management Framework principles, including: Trustworthiness (accuracy, reliability, fairness) Transparency and explainability Accountability and human oversight Define and enforce standards for: Human-in-the-loop decisioning Model usage and appropriate application Documentation, traceability, and auditability Partner with Compliance, Legal, and Risk teams to: Assess AI use case risk levels Ensure regulatory alignment (especially in underwriting, claims, and compliance use cases) Establish controls for monitoring, escalation, and incident response Ensure AI solutions include appropriate monitoring for: Model performance Data quality and drift Operational impact Product Strategy & Value Management Own prioritization framework for AI initiatives across the enterprise Define and track key performance indicators, including: % automation / straight-through processing Cost reduction / expense savings Cycle time improvements Customer and associate experience Continuously evaluate AI portfolio performance and adjust roadmap based on results and changing business priorities Balance short-term wins (assist/deflect) with longer-term transformation (automation, autonomous workflows) Collaboration & Operation Model Alignment Serve as the primary bridge between: Business stakeholders (Claims, Compliance, Service, etc.) IT / Engineering Data / AI teams Governance / Risk functions Partner with AI Program / Project Managers to ensure alignment on execution, timelines, and dependencies Work with architecture and engineering teams to promote reusable, scalable AI capabilities (APIs, knowledge layers, orchestration) Facilitate cross-functional alignment sessions to define use cases, scope, and success criteria Requirements 8+ years of experience in product management, strategy, or transformation roles. Experience leading cross-functional initiatives across business and technology teams. Understanding of AI, analytics, or automation initiatives. Familiarity with AI governance and risk frameworks (e.g., NIST preferred). Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Insurance industry experience preferred. Bachelor's degree preferred.
Salary Range:
