Automotive Product Administrator — Comptroller / Bookkeeper Triple Protection Auto Care - 1.0 Centennial, CO Job Details Full-time $80,000 - $120,000 a year 3 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Qualifications Filing Attention to detail QuickBooks Organizational skills Office management Full Job Description Small, established automotive administration company is seeking an experienced Comptroller / Bookkeeper to oversee accounting, financial recordkeeping, agent commission payments, and general office administration. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented accounting professional who is comfortable wearing multiple hats and working in a small-office environment. Experience in the automotive product administration industry, service contracts, warranty administration, or reinsurance is highly desirable. Responsibilities Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting functions. Maintain accurate financial records, general ledger, accounts payable and accounts receivable. Prepare bank reconciliations, financial statements, and routine accounting reports. Assist with budgeting, cash-flow monitoring, and financial reporting. Process and reconcile agent/dealer commission payments and maintain related records. Assist with financial reporting and accounting associated with automotive product administration programs. Apply knowledge of reinsurance transactions and accounting ; reinsurance experience is a plus. Maintain organized and accurate files and supporting documentation. Coordinate with outside accountants, auditors, insurance/reinsurance partners, vendors, and other business partners as needed. Provide general office management and administrative support for a small administrative staff . Help establish and maintain efficient office procedures and internal controls. Assist with the ongoing conversion of company books and accounting records to QuickBooks Online . Perform other accounting and administrative duties as needed. Qualifications Proven experience in bookkeeping, accounting, controllership, or a similar role. Strong understanding of general accounting principles and financial recordkeeping. Experience managing accounting functions with a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently, prioritize responsibilities, and meet deadlines. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. QuickBooks Online experience is a plus , particularly experience converting or transitioning existing accounting records. Experience with automotive product administration, dealer/agent commissions, service contracts, warranty programs, or reinsurance is highly desirable. Prior experience supervising or coordinating a small administrative staff is a plus. Work Environment This is a hands-on position within a small administrative organization , where flexibility, initiative, and the ability to manage a variety of responsibilities are important. Remote work may be considered for the right, highly qualified candidate. Candidates working remotely should be comfortable working independently and maintaining reliable communication with management and staff. What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who can take ownership of the accounting and bookkeeping function while also understanding the broader administrative needs of a small automotive product administration business. The ideal candidate will bring solid accounting skills along with practical business judgment and the ability to handle a variety of responsibilities.
Compensation:
Competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications.
