Bridgewater, New Jersey Workplace type: Hybrid / On Site We have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious student to join our Global Culinology team for summer 2026! As the Global Culinology Foodservice Intern , you will support Ingredion's Foodservice development efforts by developing texture-forward food concepts that showcase ingredient solutions and emerging texture and taste trends. Collaborate on concept development, customer-facing innovation materials, and Foodservice Toolbox assets to drive customer engagement, inspire menu innovation, and support strategic business growth opportunities.What you will do:
Perform laboratory experiments, conduct data analysis and interpret results to create new concepts. Apply Culinary skills in a laboratory setting to develop texture-forward solutions tailored for the Foodservice market. Work cross functionally with Marketing and Applications, and Technical Services to scope out project work, define customers, and align solutions to customer needs. Coordinate, summarize and report data generated from these experiments to make recommendations for technical solutions. Present project findings to Foodservice and Culinology Leadership in a capstone presentation, showcasing innovation outcomes and business opportunities. Collaborate with the Global Culinology and Foodservice teams to create the 2027 Texture and Trend Report What you will bring: Progress towards a Bachelor's degree in food science, culinary nutrition, culinary science or related field with laboratory and culinary experience. Ability to work safely in a laboratory and culinary environment Interpersonal, verbal and written technical communication skills, e.g. making presentations and interpreting data. Creativity to translate current culinary trends into manufacturable concepts Reliable transportation required to get to and from facility each workday Who you are: Eager to explore careers in the food & beverage industry Ability to work collaboratively with peers and others Creative problem-solver with a continuous improvement mindset Desire to see and create results To be eligible for consideration, candidates must: Currently possess unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.
