Own and enhance an internal workflow tool used to support benefit plan setup

Learn and document workflows end to end, including step sequencing and system dependencies

Analyze current processes to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for automation

Partner with stakeholders to improve workflow design, usability, and performance

Work closely with engineering to define requirements and guide development

Understand and influence how front-end tools connect to backend systems and data flows

Establish and track key metrics such as turnaround time, process efficiency, and error reduction

Drive continuous improvement through iterative product enhancements

Skills and Requirements

Product Management Experience

Proven experience as a Product Manager with ownership of product strategy, roadmap, and delivery

Strong product mindset (not a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or purely delivery-focused role)

Workflow Optimization & Automation

Hands-on experience improving workflows through:

Automation initiatives

Process step reduction

Efficiency gains and turnaround time (TAT) reduction

Ability to analyze and understand complex step-by-step workflows and dependencies

Systems & Process Understanding

Experience learning and managing systems end to end

Understanding of how front-end applications interface with backend systems, workflow engines, and databases

Ability to map workflows, identify bottlenecks, and design scalable solutions

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Experience working closely with engineering teams to translate business processes into technical solutions

Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Healthcare Experience

Background in healthcare, health insurance, or a related industry

Comfortable working in a regulated, process-heavy environment
