Job Description

- Akamai Cloud Technology Group empowers customers to build scalable distributed applications across a simple cloud platform. Our Compute Foundations team creates core primitives, APIs, systems, and developer tools. We power compute interactions across the Akamai Cloud platform.

- You will lead the vision, strategy, and execution for how developers interact with Akamai Cloud.
- Do what you love
- To be successful in this role you will: + Have 15 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or its equivalent + Have experience designing REST, gRPC, or GraphQL APIs and delivering developer tools like CLIs, SDKs, and Terraform providers + Possess solid expertise in API Gateway architectures, traffic management, and authentication protocols such as OAuth2 and mTLS + Demonstrate a proven track record of evolving mature developer platforms and managing breaking-change lifecycles without disrupting existing workloads + Demonstrate technical fluency in CNCF technologies, requiring Kubernetes expertise, alongside experience in cloud infrastructure, monitoring, database management, and data visualization tools.
