This role offers a unique blend of creativity, organization, and collaboration within a supportive studio environment where curiosity, initiative, and teamwork are highly valued. Reporting to the Director of Product Development the this role supports the Product Development and Design teams in bringing new products from concept to market. This role plays a key part in coordinating development activities, maintaining product documentation, and supporting vendor relationships throughout the product lifecycle. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and excited to work in a fast-paced creative environment where collaboration and hands-on support are essential. Key Responsibilities Product Development & Vendor Coordination Support vendor relationships throughout the product lifecycle, from early development through final delivery. Assist with sourcing materials, techniques, and other development needs required to move concepts toward production. Provide feedback and design notes on samples throughout the development process. Assist with quality control concerns and inspections, providing notes and feedback to the appropriate teams. Documentation & Sample Management Maintain development documents with product images, specifications, and other relevant information. Maintain and organize the TOP (Top of Production) and approval sample library. Ensure product development records remain accurate, organized, and up to date. Creative Support Participate in conceptual discussions and brainstorming sessions to generate ideas, support seasonal themes, and contribute to product line edits. Assist with market research for core product lines and new development initiatives. Cross-Functional Collaboration Collaborate with Product Development, Design, and other teams on initiatives that improve processes and workflows. Support the implementation of enhancements identified by the Product Development and Design teams. Catalog & Product Accuracy Proofread catalogs and product materials to confirm correct product information, specifications, and styles are included. Studio & Hands-On Support Provide hands-on support in the creative studio environment, including handling product samples, assisting with meeting set ups, and moving materials as needed. Assist with lifting and carrying product samples (up to 50 lbs.), furniture movement, and other physical tasks required during product reviews, photoshoots, and studio setups. Qualifications 3+ years of professional experience in product development, product design, or a related field. Highly organized and adaptable, with the ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and shift priorities. Familiarity with manufacturing processes—particularly ceramic, metal, and glass—is a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Adobe Creative Suite is a plus. Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills. Collaborative mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally across teams. Willingness to contribute beyond the desk and pitch in wherever needed to support successful seasonal launches.
