Job Description
Overview Client is seeking a Product Manager / Product Owner - AI to lead end-to-end AI initiatives aligned to a claims-focused business domain. This role partners closely with business stakeholders to identify operational improvement opportunities and translate them into structured, sprint-ready work for AI engineers and data scientists. The ideal candidate brings strong product ownership experience, solid knowledge of claims operations, and the ability to turn business pain points into practical, measurable AI solutions that improve operational performance, cost control, and client service. Core Responsibilities Partner with claims leaders, operational managers, and transformation stakeholders to identify workflow bottlenecks, leakage drivers, customer friction points, and compliance risks Define AI use cases tied to measurable outcomes such as claim cycle time reduction, improved reserving accuracy, stronger fraud detection, and faster document processing Translate business needs into epics, features, user stories, and detailed acceptance criteria Own and prioritize the product backlog based on business value, delivery constraints, and operational impact Collaborate with AI engineers and data scientists to validate feasibility, data readiness, and downstream workflow impact Support sprint execution by clarifying claims process requirements, regulatory considerations, and client-specific variations Communicate progress, risks, and trade-offs to stakeholders across business and technical teams Monitor adoption, performance metrics, and user feedback after deployment and adjust priorities accordingly Essential Qualifications, Skills, and Technologies Bachelor's degree in information management, computer science, or related technology field from an accredited college or university 6-10 years of experience in Product Management or Business-Technology roles within insurance, claims, or managed services Strong understanding of claims operations, adjuster workflows, or insurance servicing models Experience working in Agile delivery environments Ability to translate operational pain points into structured technical requirements Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across business and technical audiences Experience working with engineering and data-focused teams in delivery environments Preferred Skills or Experience Experience supporting AI-enabled process improvement initiatives Background in claims workflow optimization, fraud detection, reserving, or document processing Familiarity with compliance and regulatory considerations in claims operations Experience measuring adoption and operational impact after deployment Nesco Resource offers a comprehensive benefits package for our associates, which includes a MEC (Minimum Essential Coverage) plan that encompasses Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K, and EAP (Employee Assistance Program) services.
