Summary:
Assist in the continued growth and profitability of the organization by interactively liaising between marketing, sales, operations and our customers to identify new emerges in innovation, refinement of current products and satisfaction of customers. In this role, may be involved with major accounts with our Support Systems Division- Wesanco ZSi.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Develop, maintain, and improve plans for profitable growth for the product line. Lead new product development team for products within the product line. Play key role in costing and pricing for products within the product line. Play key role in forecasting for manufacturing and purchasing of products within the product line. Assist in additional projects assigned to the product management/marketing department. Attend industry trade shows/events and travel with customers 25% per month estimated. Prepares plans and supports implementation programs for a product, product line, or brand. Research customer preferences and evaluate product performance to develop effective product and brand positioning and strategies. Partners with sales to ensure that customer targets and product messaging are effective. Develops metrics used to conduct an ongoing analysis of the effectiveness and value of marketing programs. Utilizes metrics to collaborate with stakeholders to design, produce, and distribute effective marketing materials that reflect the brand and product identity.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or related field. 5+ years' experience in product engineering, marketing or sales Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Leadership skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate. Ability to read and interpret blueprints to draft clear and detailed manufacturing procedures. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Travel- estimated to be 25% per month.
