About the Role Creative Manufacturing LLC is seeking a creative and technical Product Developer to lead the development and refinement of products across our brands, LapGear and Rossie Home. From brainstorming new product concepts to working closely with manufacturers on final specs, this role plays a key part in turning innovative ideas into well-crafted, market-ready products. The ideal candidate is both highly creative and technically minded, with a passion for designing innovative consumer products that solve real customer needs. This person should be excited about improving existing products, developing entirely new concepts, and collaborating closely with leadership, manufacturing partners, and cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities Product Design & Development Research, conceptualize, and develop innovative new product concepts aligned with company goals and customer needs for LapGear and Rossie Home Refine, redesign, and improve existing product lines for enhanced functionality, aesthetics, and performance Create technical drawings used for product rendering with detailed specifications for prototyping and manufacturing Understand and research materials, components, and manufacturing methods to optimize product quality and cost Product Innovation Stay current on market trends, consumer behavior, competitor products, emerging innovations, and customer feedback Identify opportunities for product expansion and differentiation within the home and lifestyle categories Brainstorm and present creative concepts and solutions to leadership Balance creativity with practicality, manufacturability, and cost efficiency Manufacturing & Production Coordination Work directly with overseas manufacturing partners to develop and refine products Collaborate with factories on product specifications, sampling, revisions, and quality improvements Review samples and prototypes to ensure products meet design, quality, and functionality standards Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with leadership, sales, marketing, and operations teams throughout the product lifecycle Ensure products align with brand standards, retail requirements, and customer expectations Evolve product design based on internal feedback from the team Project Management Manage multiple product development projects simultaneously while meeting timelines and deadlines Track timelines, milestones, and production schedules to ensure timely product launches Maintain organized documentation of product specs, revisions, timelines, and approvals Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in product development, industrial design, engineering, or a related field
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials (wood, fabric, plastics, etc.) and product construction
• Engineering-minded approach with attention to functionality, usability, and manufacturability
• Experience developing consumer products preferred (home goods or lifestyle products a plus)
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and prototypes
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Proficiency in design and modeling software is a plus (Adobe Illustrator, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Fusion 360)
• Self-motivated, hands-on, and excited to contribute within a growing company environment
