Job Description Job Summary:
The Product Manager (reporting to Director, USNA Product Management) will be a critical member of the US Unmanned Systems North America Product Management Team, with specific focus on certain product lines and applications within the Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) domain. The role will ensure continued market leadership in UAS.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Planning and Governance of UAS Research and Development lines of effort, ensuring on-time, on-spec, on-budget execution of projects to company and customer commitments. Define a vision for UAS products and applications and align stakeholders. Monitor the UAS market and develop competitive analysis. Contribute to long-term roadmap for key UAS applications and product lines. Product lifecycle management -including pricing, positioning, incorporation of customer feedback, requirements, and issues. Lead role in responding to RFPs, white-papers, and solicitations.
Job Qualifications:
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Product Management; additional relevance in Product Marketing, Business Development, Systems Engineering and/or related disciplines. System-level technical expertise in UAS technology, including relevant subsystems (cameras, gimbals, GCS, etc.). Degree in Engineering, Business, or both at bachelor level—Masters is a plus. Indirect leadership experience, particularly in project/program level, with track record of execution. Exceptional ability to communicate complex technology and business problems/concepts. Able and willing to travel up to 25%. Prior military service preferred. Must have or be able to obtain SECRET level clearance.
