We have a challenging and exciting opportunity for an Associate Product Manager in our growing Product Development team. Support the development and communication of category plans and annual priorities under the guidance of senior team members. Collaborate with cross‑functional partners across engineering, supply chain, sales, marketing, and technical service to support new product introductions. Partner with internal supply chain teams and external vendors to track progress and support alignment with project timeline, cost, and quality targets for assigned initiatives.Duties and Responsibilities:
Support the execution of key processes in the product lifecycle, including participation in product and market research, competitor analysis, planning, positioning, requirements and roadmap development, and product launch. Help translate product strategy into detailed requirements for prototyping and final development by engineering teams. Support the creation of product strategy documents that describe business cases, high-level use cases, technical requirements. Review market data to help develop sales strategies, and define product objectives for effective marketing communications. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across the full lifecycle of new and existing products. Help support resource and priority alignment to ensure success within assigned projects. Support the development of product positioning and messaging that differentiates FNA across primary market segments.Required skills and qualifications:
Success in supporting key elements of the product development lifecycle. Ability to work well within cross-functional teams. Experience contributing to product marketing or launch activities. Strong written, presentation and communication skills. 1+ years of product management experience. Demonstrated experience supporting cross‑functional teams through the product development lifecycle. Proficient with Microsoft suite of products to include PowerPoint, Excel, and Word. Strong attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication skills; in person, on the phone, in writing, and on video calls. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. A basic understanding of the e-commerce, retail, and industrial buying environments. Experience within the outdoor power equipment or power tool industry is a plus. Bilingual communication skills in Spanish and English is a plus.Education/Certification:
Bachelor's degree preferred, but will also consider combination of education and experience. Other Duties asAssigned:
