Job Description

Position Overview The SEO Specialist is responsible for executing on-page, technical, and performance-based SEO improvements for assigned client accounts. This role focuses on implementation, monitoring, troubleshooting, and measurable search growth. This is an execution-focused seat. The SEO Specialist ensures optimization tasks are completed accurately, technical issues are resolved promptly, and organic performance trends positively over time. Core Responsibilities 1. On-Page Optimization Implement on-page SEO improvements including title tags, meta descriptions, headers, and internal linking Optimize content structure to align with keyword strategy Ensure proper schema markup where applicable Maintain consistency with approved SEO standards Validate optimization accuracy prior to completion 2. Technical SEO Execution Identify and address crawl, indexing, and performance issues Monitor Core Web Vitals and page experience signals Resolve broken links, redirect errors, and duplicate content issues Collaborate with Programming to implement technical fixes Validate tracking, sitemap, and robots configurations 3. Keyword & Performance Monitoring Track keyword rankings and visibility trends Monitor organic traffic performance Identify performance shifts and flag risks early Support strategy adjustments based on data insights 4. Link & Authority Support Assist in implementing approved link-building strategies Monitor backlink health and potential toxic links Coordinate off-page tasks within defined guidelines 5. Content Optimization Support Provide optimization recommendations for new and existing content Ensure content aligns with keyword intent and search demand Collaborate with content team to refine structure and clarity Audit existing pages for performance gaps 6. Client Communication & Troubleshooting Participate in client reporting calls Explain performance trends clearly and professionally Troubleshoot SEO-related concerns raised by clients Document findings and action plans Escalate complex issues to SEO Team Lead when necessary What This Role Owns Implementation of assigned SEO tasks Technical issue resolution within scope Keyword performance tracking Accurate SEO reporting support Execution accuracy of optimization work What This Role Does Not Own Overall SEO strategy development Pricing or scope changes Paid media decisions Website design authority Success Metrics (Scorecard Focus) Keyword ranking improvement trends Organic traffic growth Technical issue resolution time Reduction in crawl/indexing errors On-time completion of assigned SEO tasks This role succeeds when organic visibility improves, technical issues are minimized, optimization tasks are completed accurately, and clients see steady measurable growth in search performance.

Pay:
$18.00 - $26.00 per hour
