Our client, a Kansas City-based senior living referral service, has an immediate need for a Senior Product Growth Strategist. We're looking for someone with previous end-to-end product ownership and accountability to help audit the existing product ecosystem, and define and enhance how the brand drives organic acquisition and product-led growth by capturing and scaling qualified, high-intent demand. This role requires deep expertise in SEO principles and mechanics, while at the same time extending into AI-driven discovery, product experience, and trust signals. Success in this role is measured by the clarity of strategy, quality of decision-making, and the team's ability to drive product impact.Senior Product Growth Strategist Responsibilities:
Own and evolve organic growth strategy and drive outcomesDefine and refine the organic growth strategy across products in partnership with senior leadershipOwn performance or organic acquisition, including grown in reach, quality, and high-intent demand entering the funnelDesign how traditional SEO, AI-driven discovery, content, and product experiences work together as a coherent systemIdentify where product and platform investments unlock durable organic acquisition and reduce reliance on paid channelsApply strong understanding of SEO fundamentals, including technical SEO, information architecture, authority signals, internal linking, indexing, and performance, to strategic prioritization\Interpret algorithm shifts and discovery changes to inform product direction and risk mitigationEnsure SEO and discovery considerations are embedded in product planning, not treated as downstream optimizationDevelop and articulate a clear point of view on how AI-driven discovery intersects with traditional search principlesTranslate emerging external shifts into internal guidance, guardrails, and prioritizationPartner with Product Analytics and Data Science to size organic growth opportunities and inform tradeoffsDefine hypotheses, success criteria, and learning plans for growth initiativesProvide leadership with clear, actionable perspectives on where to invest and where to focusEstablish a clear measurement framework for organic growth, spanning core KPIs and emerging AI-driven discovery signals Influence cross-functional alignmentPartner closely with Product Managers, Designers, Researchers, Engineers, Marketing, and Brand leadersAlign stakeholders around shared definitions of SEO success, organic growth, and AI discovery readinessFacilitate structured conversations around ambiguous, cross-domain challengesMentor and guide discovery-focused practitioners as the team growsHelp define roles, priorities, and operating rhythms for organic growth and discovery workContribute to hiring decisions and onboarding as additional capacity is addedOver time, assume direct management responsibility for organic discovery roles as the team structure evolvesSenior Product Growth Strategist Requirements:
