Job Description
Media Buying Specialist Remote 6 month contract to begin Overview We are seeking a highly analytical and execution-oriented Media Buying Specialist with deep expertise in performance marketing, paid media optimization, and campaign analytics. This individual will serve as an internal subject matter expert, driving media insights, optimization opportunities, and strategic recommendations while partnering closely with external agencies. Key Responsibilities Media Buying & Platform Expertise Possess deep, hands-on media buying experience, ideally gained in an agency environment. Demonstrate strong working knowledge of major advertising platforms and tools, including
DV360, AI
max, Google Ads, YouTube, TikTok, Reddit, and other leading paid media ecosystems. Additional experience with regional platforms (e.g., Shopee, LINE, or similar) is a plus. Able to independently manage campaign fundamentals, including: Keyword strategy and maintenance Bid management and optimization Conversion tracking and funnel monitoring Creative coordination and agency handoffs Performance Analysis & Optimization Conduct in-depth analysis of campaign performance to identify drivers of success and areas for improvement. Evaluate keyword effectiveness, bidding strategies, market-level opportunities, audience performance, and channel mix. Navigate advertising platforms directly to uncover trends, generate actionable insights, and recommend optimization strategies. Translate campaign findings into recommendations that influence go-to-market strategies, onboarding experiences, customer acquisition programs, and product roadmap decisions. Fill analytical gaps left by agency partners by providing deeper performance insights and optimization recommendations. Data Analytics & Measurement Strong analytical skills with the ability to connect acquisition performance to downstream user behavior and business outcomes. Analyze user acquisition and conversion funnels across channels and touchpoints. Identify high-performing audience segments, customer verticals, and growth opportunities. Leverage data to understand customer journeys and develop recommendations that improve conversion efficiency and ROI. Cross-Functional Impact Operate autonomously in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities. Support multiple products, markets, and lines of business rather than focusing on a single area. Partner effectively with marketing, product, analytics, and agency stakeholders to drive business outcomes. Preferred Qualifications Experience within a leading technology company or high-growth digital organization is preferred. Alternatively, candidates with strong agency-side media buying experience and a proven track record of optimization and analytical excellence will be considered. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $80.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
