Part-Time SEO & Content Specialist Ghosal Luxury Lodging — Gatlinburg, TN (Hybrid) About Us Ghosal Luxury Lodging offers boutique luxury cabin rentals in the heart of the Great Smoky Mountains. Our properties — designed for couples, families, and small groups seeking a premium mountain escape — combine stunning panoramic views with upscale amenities. We're a small, data-driven team growing our direct booking business and reducing reliance on OTA channels. The Role We're looking for a part-time SEO & Content Specialist to execute our 2026 organic growth plan. You'll own our search rankings end-to-end: building new landing pages, optimizing existing content, writing conversion-focused blog posts, and tracking keyword performance weekly. This is a high-impact role. Our site already ranks in the top 3 for several luxury cabin keywords — you'll take those wins further, unlock quick-win opportunities we've already identified (KD ≤ 15), and build a content engine that brings in direct bookings.
Hours:
~15-20 hrs/week

Compensation:
Competitive, based on experience What You'll Do Landing Pages (Weeks 1-4) Build 2-3 new conversion-focused landing pages targeting identified low-KD keywords (e.g., "gatlinburg cabins with hot tub," KD=7, 1,900/mo searches) Write compelling copy, coordinate photos, and implement proper on-page SEO (H1, meta, schema markup) On-Page & Technical SEO Optimize meta titles and descriptions across all pages Implement schema.org markup (VacationRental / LodgingBusiness) on cabin pages Add internal links and booking CTAs to existing top-traffic blog posts Monitor Core Web Vitals and flag technical issues Content & Blog Write 2-4 high-intent blog posts per month targeting booking-focused queries Pivot existing blog strategy away from pure-informational content toward conversion-driven topics Repurpose and update existing top-performing posts to improve rankings Link Building & PR Identify and pitch local tourism sites, attraction pages, and travel blogs for backlinks Manage citations: Google Business Profile, travel directories, review platforms Reporting Track keyword rankings weekly in SEMrush (position tracking already set up) Report monthly on: organic traffic, keyword movements, landing page performance, and estimated booking attribution via PostHog You're a Great Fit If You Have 2+ years of SEO experience, ideally in travel, hospitality, or local search Proven track record moving keywords from page 2 → page 1 Strong copywriting skills — you can write content that ranks and converts Hands-on experience with SEMrush (or Ahrefs / Moz) Familiarity with on-page SEO best practices: schema, meta, Core Web Vitals, internal linking Basic understanding of analytics (PostHog, Google Analytics, or similar) Self-directed — you can take a keyword list and a brief and run with it
