SEO Specialist (Potential Contract-to-Hire)
Location:
Nashville, TN (Hybrid - 3 days per week onsite)

6-9 Months (Potential to convert to full-time)

HealthcareRole OverviewWe are seeking a strategic and technical SEO Specialist for a 6-9 month contract with a prominent healthcare client based in Nashville. This role is ideal for a specialist who thrives on improving organic visibility and navigating the unique content requirements of the healthcare sector. You will be responsible for executing on-page, off-page, and technical SEO strategies to drive high-quality traffic and patient acquisitions. This role requires a hybrid schedule, with three days per week spent onsite at the client's Nashville office to collaborate directly with the internal marketing and content teams.
Key ResponsibilitiesSearch Strategy:
Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies tailored to healthcare services, ensuring all content aligns with search intent and patient journeys.
Technical SEO:
Conduct regular site audits to identify and resolve issues related to crawlability, site speed, mobile-friendliness, and structured data.
Content Optimization:
Partner with content creators to optimize blog posts, service pages, and provider profiles for relevant keywords while maintaining medical accuracy.
Keyword Research:
Perform deep-dive research to identify high-value healthcare terms and long-tail phrases that drive qualified traffic.
Local SEO:
Manage and optimize local search presence and Google Business Profiles for multiple clinical locations.
Performance Tracking:
Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as organic rankings, traffic, and conversions using industry-standard tools.
Technical QualificationsExperience:
3+ years of dedicated SEO experience, preferably within a highly regulated industry like healthcare or finance.
SEO Toolset:
Proficiency with tools such as Ahrefs, Semrush, Moz, and Screaming Frog.
Analytics:
Advanced knowledge of Google Search Console and Google Analytics 4 (GA4).
CMS Familiarity:
Experience managing SEO within platforms like WordPress, Drupal, or custom enterprise CMS environments.
Healthcare Knowledge:
Understanding of HIPAA compliance and the "Your Money or Your Life" (YMYL) content standards as they relate to Google's E-E-A-T guidelines.
