We have partnered with an entertainment client headquartered in downtown Chicago in their search for a hands-on Website Optimization Manager for a 3 month contract. In this role, you will manage and optimize day-to-day website operations, with a focus on improving organic visibility, user experience, and conversion performance. This individual will own website content updates and enhancements, implement SEO and AEO best practices, and use analytics and testing to identify opportunities for continuous improvement. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working independently while collaborating with an existing team. Key Responsibilities Manage day-to-day website operations, including content updates, page creation, and ongoing site maintenance within WordPress. Optimize website content, structure, and technical elements to improve SEO, AEO, and overall search visibility. Identify opportunities to improve organic discoverability across traditional search engines and AI-powered search experiences. Apply on-page optimization best practices, including keyword research, metadata, content structure, and page optimization. Plan and execute A/B testing initiatives to improve website conversion rates (CVR) and user experience. Monitor website analytics, track performance metrics, and develop regular reporting. Translate website performance data into actionable recommendations to improve traffic, engagement, conversions, and overall site effectiveness. Measure and report on the ROI and business impact of website optimization initiatives. Qualifications & Experience Hands-on experience managing websites through WordPress. Working knowledge of SEO and AEO principles, including keyword research, on-page optimization, metadata, and content structure. Experience with website analytics, performance reporting, and A/B testing. Understanding of website conversion optimization and user experience best practices. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities. The ability to be onsite in their Chicago offer 2 days a week This is a contract opportunity for 3 months to start with the potential to convert in 2027. This position pays a hourly rate of $40/hr

• 45/hr dependent upon experience.
