• Parsons is seeking a
• Senior Vulnerability Research Engineer
• to join our team in support of specialized military cyber operations.

 You'll be a critical member of a small team, responsible for research and development of cyber capabilities. Join our team of best-in-industry cyber warriors who are dedicated to providing superior service in support of national defense objectives. This position can support hybrid, or in-person. Candidates will be expected to work in a classified environment at one of Parsons' offices in Centreville, Chantilly, or Herndon, VA.

• What You'll Be Doing:

• + Perform vulnerability research / reverse engineering (VR/RE) against a variety of hardware and software targets + Allocate tasking to support larger-scale cyber tool development + Perform testing and integration of cyber tools

• What Qualifications You'll Bring:

• + Bachelor's degree in related technical field and 10+ years of professional related experience; Master's degree in related field will be considered in lieu of 4 years on experience + 10+ years utilizing programming languages such as Python, C, C++, x86 + 5+ years of experience in vulnerability research and/or cyber tool development + Knowledge of networking fundamentals + Experience developing in Windows and Linux environments + Experience with CI / CD Pipelines and version control (Git) •

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

• + 10+ years of experience in vulnerability research and/or cyber tool development + Cross-Platform Windows-Linux development + Experience with Windows Internals and/or Linux kernel level programming + Knowledge of concurrent application development concepts (multi-threaded and/or distributed) + Familiarity with antivirus evasion techniques + Assembly languages (x86, ARM, MIPS, etc) + Additional Operating Systems (Android, iOS, OSX) + Certified/trained in one or more of the following: Corelan Bootcamp/Advanced, ManTech ACTP Windows/Linux/VR&E, OSCP, OSED, OSWE + Experience supporting USCYBERCOM, NSA, DoD cyber operations, or related mission environments •

Salary Range:
